QUESTIONS? WE HAVE ANSWERS.
How do I go about booking a session?
It’s really easy to book a session with me! Just send me an email through the contact tab, and we can chat! A (non-refundable) session fee is required to hold your date, and a package is required to be picked at the time of signing. Package fees are due one week prior to session.
For weddings, I suggest scheduling an in-person consultation after your inquiry. If an in-person consult is not an option, we can setup a Skype/Zoom Video Chat!
What is your style like?
My style is documentary. I prefer to capture your story as it unfolds. Most importantly, I want these to be images you cherish. I enjoy a light and airy look to my photos, which is what I strive to provide in any lighting situation. Although my packages technically have time-limits, I'm the type of person that would stay 30 minutes longer just to capture the last dance! I will laugh with you, cry with you and celebrate with you. My goal is to be an extra person that you can COUNT on.
What do I need to book?
A session fee is required at the time of booking. During your contract signing, SYSP does require a product package to be chosen. This product package fee won’t be due until one week prior to your session.
A non-refundable retainer fee of 25% is due upon booking. During your contract signing, SYSP does require a product package to be chosen. This package fee won’t be due until thirty days prior to your wedding.
How far ahead do I need to book?
I typically book 3-6 months ahead, and even sooner during the Fall/Christmas seasons. If you are expecting, I highly suggest booking as early as possible. I do maternity sessions between 28-36 weeks of pregnancy, and newborn sessions are best done between 4-14 days.
I suggest reaching out 1-1.5 years in advance.
Please feel free to reach out, anytime, regardless of date; you may just get lucky!
Where are you located?
I’m located in Somerville, MA, less than 5 miles outside of Boston, MA.
Will you travel to me?
Heck yes! I love traveling, like realllllly love it.
Of course, I would ask that you cover all travel/accommodation fees but we can talk more in-depth about that after your inquiry!
Some dream destinations that I would HEAVILY discount travel fees for are:
- Hawaii (anywhere tropical, really)
How long does it take to receive our images?
Your gallery will be ready 2-4 weeks after your session.
Your gallery will be ready 4-8 weeks after your wedding.
Who's your clientele?
My client can be anyone, but it's anyone that is open-minded. I am the perfect fit for a family, high school senior, boudoir or wedding. I am a go-with-the-flow type of photographer. You will often find me asking, "Do you trust me?" (specifically when I have an out-of-the-box idea that you may think I'm insane for suggesting)! I like to take my time and capture everything. I love adventure; and I am down for literally anything fun.
Do you offer any discounts? Payment plans?
I offer payment plans. I understand that photography is an investment, and I want to make sure that I can cater photography needs easily. I also do offer a loyalty discount, and referral discount. Please ask for details.
How many photos do we get in a session?
I will present 25-60 images in your gallery, this includes both color and black and white photos. These are the images that have met my standards in the quality of images that I want to present to you. These images will already be fully edited to my signature editing style.
I average about 50 images/hour for weddings (400-1,000+). It really depends on the duration of the package you have chosen. Elopements will get significantly less images.
How will our photos be delivered?
You will receive an email, with all of the details to view, favorite and download your images. You can also order prints and products right from your gallery!
Each gallery is password-protected; Final images will not be watermarked.
For my boudoir session, do I need to get naked?
Of course not! This is YOUR session. You can choose to express yourself however you see fit. Are nude images hot? Hell yeah! But required? Never!
If being nude is out of your comfort zone, consider "implied nude". Feel free to ask me about it, if interested.
I am considering booking a boudoir session, but I am a bigger girl... Can I still book?
HELL YES, YOU CAN!
I am a bigger gal myself, and I am ALLLLL about body positivity! I will never judge you. My goal is to make you feel confident and empowered, and hopefully make you fall in love with yourself (and your body)!
